Choose a concentration that aligns with your professional goals. The Suffolk MBA Online offers four concentrations to position yourself for success in your chosen field.
- Accounting Principles - Develop your expertise in accounting by focusing on financial statements, regulatory and reporting requirements, compliance, and other accounting standards.
- Business Intelligence - Focus on data and analytics as you learn to manage data resources, analyze data, and visualize results to improve performance management, optimize customer relations, monitor business activity, and support decision making.
- Finance - Explore the intricacies of corporate finance, portfolio management, investment banking, and international finance.
- Health Sector Management - Build business competencies as a healthcare professional by focusing on the healthcare system and selected health sector trends and business practices in technology and big data.
- Electives - As a student in the Suffolk MBA Online, the curriculum requirement is 12 credits of MBA electives, however, you may choose to select a
concentration. Students who do not elect this concentration option will take a group consisting of general electives.
- Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals - Suffolk's Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals (GCBF) is a six-course program that covers the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a business environment. Courses include the fundamentals of economics, statistics, operations, accounting, finance, and marketing. This program is designed for those who have no previous business background and can be completed in as few as nine months.

Professor Mark A. Lehrer (PhD) is an expert in international management of research and development, innovation and technology, strategic management, global strategy, knowledge management, and economic history. He speaks English and German and is a professor of strategy and international business.
